FAAAA Medallions Presented

The Fleet Air Arm Association has decided that each year it will award medallions to the officers and sailors of the Fleet Air Arm who achieve the highest marks in their technical training.

Three categories have been recognised:

  • the air engineering course;
  • the advanced technical training course; and
  • basic aircrewman course.

On 14 April 2003, Commodore G.A.Ledger RAN, Commander, Australian Naval Air Command, presented the 2002 FAAAA medallions to:

  • Lieutenant David Mathews;
  • Chief Petty Officer ATV Anthony Williams; and
  • Leading Seaman Aircrew Adele Shimmings.

The FAAAA congratulates the winners.
