The South Australia Division of the FAAA has held its annual general meeting. All positions were declared vacant and a new committee was elected. President is Leon Coppins (contact details above), Vice-President Mike Stubbington, Treasurer Gordon Gray, Secretary Roger Harrison, Delegate John Saywell, Auditor Michael Cain and Newsletter Editor Dinsley Cooper.
A number of awards were made at the national meeting of the Fleet Air Arm Association at Nowra on 30 October 2010, including life memberships for two South Australia Division members.
Dinsley Cooper and John Berry were recipients of awards for their years of service to the Association. Two Diplomas of Merit for service to the Association also went to South Australian members - to Des Reardon and Michael Cain.
Their awards were received on their behalf by the SA Division delegate, Grant Jesser from the retiring National President, David Farthing.

Membership of the FAAAA is open to all former and serving personnel of the RAN or other navies who have served for not less than 12 months in naval aviation or in support of naval aviation.
A joining fee of $15 currently applies and an annual subscription of $15 is due each 1st February (those electing to receive the Association's quarterly journal Slipstream pay an additional $18 per annum which is billed with the annual subscription).
Any person who has an interest in the Fleet Air Arm but is not entitled to join as a Full Member may be admitted by the Division as an Associate Member.
