Each of the FAAAA's Divisions has a contact officer who has a good general knowledge of health and welfare issues, and how to access help. If you have a problem, and are uncertain where to find help, contact one of these FAAAA members for advice.

The Association's mission is to ensure the general welfare of all members and their recognised carers. The Australian Federation of Totally and Permanently Incapacitated Ex-Servicemen and Women is the Australia-wide body, and there are branches in all States and Territories.

The Defence Force Welfare Association (DFWA) is an Australia-wide organisation with a national office in Canberra and branch offices in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. It also has representatives in Tasmania, South Australia, the Northern Territory, North Queensland and country New South Wales.
Part of its charter is to advise or assist any serving or retired member of the Australian Defence Force, or their dependants, in matters affecting their welfare.
