FAA Aircraft - McDonnell Douglas A-4G Skyhawk

Eight A-4G Skyhawk jet fighters and two TA-4Gs (training aircraft) were obtained in July 1967, and a second order in 1971 doubled the fleet numbers. The single seat versions were embarked in the aircraft carrier HMAS Melbourne until their withdrawal in 1984. They were subsequently sold to the Royal New Zealand Air Force.
