ACT Division Winery Tour July 17

The ACT Division is holding a Winery Tour on Sunday 9th July 17 to visit wineries in the Murrumbateman area for members and their partner / guest. One or two minibuses will be available to take personnel on the tour, the cost of the buses will be subsidised by the association. 

There is a $5.00 per person charge at most of the wineries for the tastings for groups of 10 or more, although some wineries will refund that charge if you purchase any of their wines. 

The proposed tour program is as follows:

 0900 – 0920  Pick up personnel at the following locations: 

  • Canberra Airport at 0900 
  • Exhibition Park at 0920. 

 Parking is available at the Airport and at Exhibition Park for those people that wish to leave their cars there for the day.

  • 1000 – 1045  –   Visit winery for Tastings / cheese platter. Clonakilla Wines see attached link for their website
  • 1100 – 1145  –  Visit Winery for Tastings. Murrumbateman Winery  see attached link for their website
  •  1200 – 1230 –   Visit Robyn Rowe Chocolate Shop. For details see the following link
  •  1240 – 1415 –  Lunch at Poachers Pantry, Willy Trout Winery. You can download a lunch menu here.
  •  1430 – 1515 –  Visit Winery for tastings. Pankhurst Wines  For details see the following website
  •  1600 -1620 – Return to Exhibition Park (1600) and Canberra Airport (1620)

 For those members who wish to attend please provide the following information by no later than 1600 Friday 23 June 17.  

  • First and Last Names of personnel attending including any partners / guests (a maximum of 1 guest per member)
  • Preferred bus pick up location

maximum of 1 guest per member is allowed noting maximum numbers for the tour will be limited to 20 personnel. First in best dressed so book early to avoid missing out.
