Wessex 827 pictured in the UK in September 1985.  The aircraft is the only surviving example of the Mark 31A. 


Aircraft History:

  • First Flight 08/04/63.
  • Only surviving Wessex not converted to Mk31B standard. 
  • Instructional Airframe 03/08/83. 
  • To Naval Aviation Museum, Nowra NSW 1991. 
  • March 2002 to Queensland Air Museum at Caloundra on permanent loan. Currently on display at QAM.
