Auster J-5G Autocar

Auster J-5G Autocar

The two Auster Autocar aircraft were delivered from the UK aboard the light fleet carrier HMAS Sydney in 1953. After a decade of flying with the RAN from the naval air station at Nowra, primarily on communications duties, they were sold out of the RAN.  One was later repurchased from a Mr Smith in Victoria.
