Grumman S-2E/G Tracker

Fourteen S-2E Tracker aircraft were obtained in July 1967 for anti-submarine duties from both shore bases and from the aircraft carrier HMAS Melbourne. Following a fire at Nowra in 1976, 16 replacement S2-G aircraft were provided in April 1977. They flew until June 1984.
