It is with deep sadness that I advise the passing of our member Darryl Christie yesterday 16th August. Our condolences go out to his wife Lynn, daughter Kelly and the rest of the family.
Darryl joined the Navy on the 6th March 1964 and was discharged as an LASE on the 5th March 1976. He was in receipt of the Vietnam Campaign Medal and the return from Active Service Badge. He served on 817 squadron HMAS Sydney, HMAS Melbourne, HMAS Hobart and HMAS Stalwart as well as land bases HMAS Albatross and Leeuwin.
Rest in peace shipmate LEST WE FORGET.
