OUR HISTORY

History

Our organisation has Divisions in all States and Territories except the NT (which is administered by QLD Division), and members are encouraged to join in the activities that interest them.

Members receive the quarterly journal Slipstream which publishes news and recollections of interest.

The National Executive of the FAAAA undertakes activities such as arranging the national re-unions of Fleet Air Arm personnel, awards and medallions of merit to the top naval aviation achievers and the provision of advice to its members on welfare matters.

Divisional Executives organise re-unions within their area and arrange events such as Anzac Day parades. The Divisions also provide welfare advice to their members.

The FAAAA makes submissions to various committees on matters related to the treatment of ex-servicemen and women as well as contributing to naval aviation discussions.
