The Fleet Air Arm Association was saddened to learn of the passing of William John “Sailor Bill” Corkill, at his home in Nowra in the early hours of Sunday 4th March 2018. He was 87 years old.
Bill was the beloved husband of Narelle (dec.), and a loving father and father-in-law to Paul (dec.), Julie & Gregory Martin, Kathleen & Jason Nichols, Daniel and Maila. He was also the adored Grandfather to Natasha, and Jacob, and step-grandfather to Peter, Bradley and Page.
Bill’s service was held at the FAA Museum HMAS ALBATROSS Nowra on Monday 12th March 2018.
