We have been advised of the death of Alan David DAVIDSON, NAM R66318, aged 79, on 30 January 2026.
Alan’s funeral service is to be held at the Main Chapel, 7 Murray Dwyer Circuit in Mayfield West, commencing at 1430 on Thursday 12 February 2026.
Alan was born on 3rd May 1946 in Waratah, NSW. He joined the Navy in April 1967, just short of his 21st birthday, with his occupation noted to be ‘plumber’.
His personnel record is incomplete, but he did serve with the third contingent of the RAN Helicopter Flight Vietnam and would have received his Unit Citation for Gallantry that service.
