t is my sad duty to advise the passing of Rob Earle, who slipped away peacefully on Wednesday 22nd October.
Rob joined the RAN on November 1955 and was discharged in August 1962.
His rating was NAM (A).
Rob served on HMAS Cerberus, Albatross, Swan and Melbourne.
At various times he was attached to 723, 805, 808 and 816 squadrons.
Rob and his wife ( associate member Marion ) were great supporters of the association and rarely missed a meeting or function.
A memorial service for Rob will be held at the Gardeners Run Golf Course on Wednesday 29th October at 1100.
He will be sadly missed.
Our thoughts are with Marion and the family at this sad time.
