I was SOBS 723 when Pincher Martin was either on crewies course or just after. He was a very good dedicated sailor and aviator who just loved being an aircrewman. He had a ready smile and strong work ethic that I appreciated very much. Later in life as he progressed in his career he never lost his natural touch. We had been in touch on Facebook and I was very saddened to learn of his passing. It came as a shock to me. Farewell Pincher, wonderful work colleague and mate.
