Douglas “Bruce” Schmitz passed away in Nowra on 01 August 2025, aged 96.
He was the beloved husband of Judith, who pre-deceased him, and father and father-in-law of Mary [dec], Peter, Fiona, Kevin, Letitia and Roger. He leaves behind his grandchildren Nathaniel, Letitia, Elijah, Tilly, Shelton, Eilish, Holly, Ky, Jay, Mylz, Hudson, Dryden [dec], Tahnen, Arabella, Hendrix, Narvi and Caspian.
A private funeral was held by the family.
