Advice has been received of the death of NAMAE Pat Stewart on 3rd August 2026. He was 79 years old.
Pat was born in Deccan, India on 25 May 1947 but settled in WA from whence he joined the Navy in August of 1964. His occupation was listed as “Messenger”. He qualified as a Naval Airman (Ordinary) in October of that year, and spent the next two years primarily aboard HMAS Melbourne before posting to Albatross. It was here that he spent most of his career, apart from his attachment to the 2nd Flight of the RAN Helicopter Flight Vietnam.
Pat paid off in 75/76 and moved to the west. He was a popular and very amicable soul who will be greatly missed.
