The FAAAA was advised that Phillip Tuckett passed away on the morning of 12 March, 2018. x
Phil was a member of Handlers Class 21 October 1951. He did the trip to England along with others to pick up the Vengeance and on return to Australia they did trials with the intention that the ship would replace the Sydney in Korea, but she was deemed unsuitable for the trip. Most Handlers transferred to the Sydney on her return and did the workup and then the second trip to Korea with Phil amongst the crew.

Phil was a funny bugger, a great mate and kept in touch with his mates after leaving the Navy, but he was not in good health of late and suffered from the big C.
