I have been asked and with sadness pass on - especially to the Fleet
Air Arm community - the news that after a long illness Lieutenant
Commander W.E. (Bill) Callan has died. Details of funeral
arrangements are unknown at this time, but Mike Astbury (02-62471562)
may have details in a few days.
Bill was a Fighter Pilot in 805 and 724 Squadrons and had several Air
Group embarkations in the then Flagship, HMAS Melbourne.
