It is with sadness and regret that I Have to inform you all of the passing of NSW Member Kevin Francis Duffey R45352 on Tuesday 19th March 2024.
Kevin was born in Arncliffe (NSW) on 12 January 1934, with his trade marked as ‘Grocer’ on his enlistment records. He joined the RAN as a recruit Naval Airman in June of 1951 on a six year engagement and discharged in January 1958, but subsequently rejoined sixteen months later. Apart from a brief posting to HMAS Melbourne, he spent most of his time at Albatross and lived in Nowra.
His records are not complete and, at this stage, we are not sure of his eventual discharge rank/date. We would also welcome advice of his life after the Navy.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Kevin’s funeral service to be held at the St Michaels Catholic Church, 30 North Street, Nowra, on Thursday 28th of March at 10.30am. Following the service his funeral will proceed to Burial at Nowra General Cemetery.
