It is with the greatest sadness that we heard of the passing on 7 August 2017 of Ian Ferguson, R35387, a Life Member of the NSW Division of the FAAAA. He died peacefully at David Berry Hospital in Berry, NSW. x
Ian joined the RAN in October 1947 and as one of the “originals” on Naval Airmans’ Course 1, he was a very proud life member of the FAAAA.

Above is a photo of him taken while on course in 1948 and the one below is outside RNAS Yeovilton in April 2015 when he travelled to UK with his son Grant, before going to Gallipoli for the centenary of ANZAC a few days later.

Ian’s funeral was held on Tuesday 15 August at 1200 at Worrigee.
