MACKENZIE, Colin

Col was a long time member of the Victoria Division, who journeyed to Melbourne (from TAS) every August to join in their Annual Dinner and Memorial Service. He served from August 1952 until August 1958 including at HMAS Cerberus, Nirimba, Albatross, Lonsdale, Melbourne and HMS Condor and HMS Seahawk.

He spent most of his time on 817 squadron, and was particularly proud of his customised vehicle registration “FAA 817” which he transferred to several cars.
