Lawrie Styles, chaplain to the Victorian Division of the Association, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 13, at Epworth Hospital in Melbourne. Lawrie was a fighter pilot with the Royal Navy during the World War Two and was involved in the raid on the German battleship Tirpitz.

He migrated to Australia after the war and became a chaplain. He is survived by a sister and will be sadly missed by the Victorian Division.

Lawrie’s funeral service was at St Peter’s Church at Eastern Hill on November 17. A private cremation followed.
