I am advised that Don Daniels passed away last Tuesday, 26 May 2015. His funeral is on 2 June 15 in Holbrook, organised by the RSL. Don influenced me to join the RAN Gliding club in the early ‘60’s and was a strong member of the club for a number of years. I believe he has suffered from Altzimer’s disease and was cared for by his daughter, Judith, and of late he was in a Nursing home. Don was Chief Air Fitter.
