It is my sad duty to advise the passing of Mike Lovell.
Mike served from July 1953 until May 1962.
Mike served in all three of our carriers, Sydney, Vengeance and Melbourne predominately in 817 squadron flying Firefly and Gannet aircraft.
His many postings included Cerberus, Penguin, Albatross, RAAF Wagga, UK, Sydney, Vengeance and Melbourne.
The Funeral will be held at Springvale Memorial Cemetery on Thursday 28th December at 1415.
Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.
