We regret to inform you of the passing of QLD member Peter G Stevens.
Peter was born in Brisbane on 7 July 1940, and enlisted in the RAN in October of 1962 as a Midshipman. He started his basic aircrew training (pilot) the following year but suffered an injury which terminated his training. He was discharged medically unfit in July of that year, having only spent 12 months in the Navy.
Despite his short tenure he was a staunch supporter of the FAAAA and remained a member for many years.
