Sharron Spargo of the WA Division has recently written a book about the Australian Fleet Air Arm.Entitled “Birdies”, it tells the history of the FAA from its inception in 1947 to the present day, including many personal accounts from people who experienced the Korean War, Vietnam, the Indonesian confrontation and the Cold and Gulf wars.
This publication is no longer being facilitated through the Fleet Air Arm Association website.
